It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of a crew mate of our events.

 

In memory of Christine Matte, the heart and soul of FanaticCon, a beacon of warmth and joy at every event. Her passion for pop culture, conventions, and adorable cows resonated with all of us. As the dedicated greeter, she welcomed each fan with open arms, leaving an indelible mark on the FanaticCon family.

 

Her love of Sci-Fi and Star Trek were legendary (so much so that she learned French by watching the original series in French!) 

 

In honour of Christine Matte, we dedicate the entire convention season to her memory. Her spirit, passion, and warm greetings will forever echo through the halls of FanaticCon, making every moment a tribute to her.
