JOHN STOCKER will be our special guest for the 3rd FANATICCON BROCKVILLE.
Voice of thousands of T.V. and radio commercials, John's animation performing life began with dozens of parts in Droids and Ewoks, and includes many iconic roles, like 'Beastly' in Care Bears, 'Toad' in Super Mario Brothers, 'Basil' in Babar, 'Longarm' in C.O.P.S., 'Ultron' in The Avengers, 'Creed' in X-Men, 'The Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man' in The Real Ghostbusters, 'Thompson' in Tin Tin, 'Newton Gimmick' in Teddy Ruxpin, and 'Bugsy' in Dog City. Mr. Stocker will have a table set up for an opportunity to meet and greet and options for paid memorabilia, photos and signatures.
It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of a crew mate of our events.
In memory of Christine Matte, the heart and soul of FanaticCon, a beacon of warmth and joy at every event. Her passion for pop culture, conventions, and adorable cows resonated with all of us. As the dedicated greeter, she welcomed each fan with open arms, leaving an indelible mark on the FanaticCon family.
Her love of Sci-Fi and Star Trek were legendary (so much so that she learned French by watching the original series in French!) In honour of her love of the stars, a portion of her ashes will be onboard the Celestis Memorial Spaceflight Infinite, set to launch in 2025!
In honour of Christine Matte, we dedicate the entire 2024 convention season to her memory. Her spirit, passion, and warm greetings will forever echo through the halls of FanaticCon, making every moment a tribute to her.
